If I want to buy 200 of those guns I'm legally allowed to?

You would be flagged immediately. For one, one or even a chain of stores could not supply that at once. You might make it out with a few legally in a short period of time. either way, ATF will be knocking on your door doing an in home audit. They do this annualy and without notice to a lot of registered gun owners who own register "lots" of weapons. Also if you have legal suppressors (often referred to as silencers) or fully auto weapons. They may show up 3 times in a month or once in 24 months, you have no idea, but they will check. They will also question your amount of ammo

There will be lawsuits from the "someone should have prevented this!" crowd and that'll be the beginning of airport-like security in hotels such as these.

Checking guest baggage at a hotel would create an enormous new problem. And I doubt this guy brought them all up at once with him. Maybe the most efficient thing to do would be setting up TSA-like scanners near the elevators, but then every single bag would need to be scanned...and you’d have a lot of crabby people waiting to get to their elevators.

Is it even legal to carry firearms into a hotel? I don’t know, I suppose it would depend on the state and property.

State and property laws take into effect on carrying into a hotel. In say texas, sure you can. In chicago or ny most likely not.

I have no idea about Vegas, I've always flown there and not carried.

Post the link and i`ll post the picture.....No where to be found on my end.

What you posted is what I saw. I looked at the source and it was on Alex Jones website so now I am really questioning the legitimacy. Just seems to me that they would lock down the crime scene and there would be no way a close up shot could be taken. We haven't even seen hotel security surveillance and all we are seeing is old photos of this guy so I am calling bullshit on the photo that is posted all over the net.

I'm sure someone will sue the hotel/casino and possibly concert host. I would bet the casino would just settle out of court if they can and get it to go away.

I would think the best way to do is similar to the Airports.
I've never brought my own bag up to my room, unless of course you have a carry on or laptop with Money in those bags

So this is how I would do it

You check into the Hotel, and your bags go up with a Bellhop, he then brings the bags to a bag room where they get scanned
Any bags you bring up yourself, ( carry-on, etc ) get scanned by the elevators

for the guys that think he should have told the fans something, ok if you was him what was you have told your fans to do

How about:

"There is someone firing a gun at the concert. Take cover immediately."

Jonathan Smith, 30, saved ~30 people last night before he was shot in the neck. He might live w/the bullet for rest of his life.

I guess not everyone runs when they hear gunfire.

This guy is 30 lives saved ahead of Jason Aldean, and he didn't have a microphone.

Yeah I agree that bloody picture is suspect.

The one above where you see the legs is the real deal.

I was just going to fix lunch GB. Thanx. This is ok. Just wouldn't want to see any of the 59 people dead. You should get paid for your fine work.

Its coming, Joe. You and I both know hotels will start doing this. It wouldn’t even surprise me if they added some kind of security surcharge to bills...just like they always try to slip in the fucking “resort fee.” Yeah, because I need to spend $25/day on a USA Today or gym access when I’m on vacation. Or maybe they’ll just jack up the resort fee.

In a former life, I may or may not have worked for a pro sports team. Traveling with them was pretty cool...we’d check our bags in before the team plane took off on the jetway, and the next time I would see my bag would be when it was waiting for me already in my room at the hotel. I always liked that and found it incredibly convenient. I doubt hotels will be able to set up an efficient process like that for all their guests, though.

The day day is likely coming where some loon will just walk into the front door of a casino and open fire. Even though hotel security would probably handle it very quickly. I’m pretty surprised it hasn’t been attempted yet.
