like both the plays,, bol ,,, backpacked thru Europe years ago,,, lived in a tent,,, hitched hiked throughout Europe for about a year,, England and wales were first on list,,, did not like dark beer back then, but learned to drink black/tan from lorry drivers which allowed me to try dark beer,,,, among other things,,, love wales,,,caerphilly, especially,, , have mates who I have now known for over 30 yrs,, still enjoy a pint of guinness now and again,,,,

Sounds like a great time! There's much more to see in Scotland/Wales than there is outside of the major cities in England. Come to Sheffield and outside of Bramall Lane there's nothing but steel plants. I had a similar trip, but I did so in the US as I mentioned up above in this thread. Dark beer is an acquired taste indeed, but once you get a few down it grows on you. It is the nectar of the gods, after all. Thanks for the kind welcome, fly.
