A disappointing year is about to come to a disappointing end for South Florida as they get beaten in Morgantown by a revenge-minded Moutaineers team. The Bulls have lost four of their last six games outright and are a pathetic 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games. WVU is coming off a tough road loss at Pittsburgh, but they have played well over the last couple months and they have won four of their last five home games, with their average win coming by more than two touchdowns. WVU has been a solid bounceback team, going 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games after an ATS loss. Also, the Bulls are just 1-9 ATS in their last 10 against a team with a winning record.

The best team in the Big East is going to head out to the island to take on the Warriors. The Bearcats have won five straight games and are on a nice 4-1 ATS run. They are the best that the Big East has to offer and should be able to handle a Hawaii team that isn’t nearly as good as the recent teams that it has produced. Cincy is 9-4 ATS in its last 13 nonconference games while the Warriors are 0-5. Hawaii struggled to put away a terrible Washington State team and the Bearcats defense should be too much for them.

$700.00 #129 Boston College (pk) over Virginia Tech (1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
The Hokies don't deserve to be playing in this game and made it to the championship game almost by default. Boston College has earned its way to Florida with gutsy wins over four straight bowl-eligible teams. This is a rematch of last year's title game and I don't think that the Hokies are anywhere near as good as they were last December. The Eagles have already beaten Tech once this year and they are a stellar 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. The B.C. defense is going to get the job done and the Eagles will advance to a BCS game.

$300.00 #131 Alabama (+9.5) over Florida (4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
This is too many points to be giving the No. 1 team in the country. Alabama is a tough, physical team and I think they will be able to line up and play with the Gators. Alabama has already won a big game on the turf of the Georgia Dome, hammering Clemson to start the year. I will take power over speed and take the points in a game that I think the Crimson Tide can win outright.

$500.00 #128 Tulsa (-12) over East Carolina (Noon, Saturday, Dec. 6)
The Golden Hurricane lost in the CUSA Title Game last year but I don't think they'll be denied this time around. East Carolina has nearly fallen off the map after their hot early start this year. They are just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games and barely managed to find their way into this game. Injuries have really slowed down their offense and I don't think they will be able to slow down a potent Tulsa passing attack. The favorite is 4-1 ATS in this series, including two blowout wins by the Hurricane in the last two meetings.

$1000.00 ‘Under’ 49.5 Western Kentucky at Florida International (7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
Besides a wild game at North Texas there hasn’t been more than 48 points scored in any of WKU’s games against Division IA teams this year. And that includes blowouts against Kentucky, Ball State, Alabama and Virginia Tech. In those four games there was just an average of 41 points and in WKU’s last two games there’s been just 54 total points scored. FIU is coming off a game in which it scored 50 points by itself and totaled 107 points with rival Florida Atlantic. I don’t see them topping that mark again. Both quarterbacks complete less than 54 percent of their passes so I don’t see either club airing it out. WKU is trying to get its first D-IA win of the year and this game means more to them than to FIU. I expect this to be a sloppy, low-scoring game and I think that this one stays under by two touchdowns.

Do you think Tebow will be able to gash the Bama D-line with those tuck and runs up the middle? IMO the Bama D-line with big man Coty will put a stop to Tebow's running game. Factor in their leading receiver and one of their best rushers is out (Harvin). This has the makings of a low scoring tight game. Let me know your thoughts...

I also see it as a low scoring game...and with 9.5 point...24-17 would be a lot.

Respectfully disagree with you and TOOTIGHT. I believe this will be a high scoring game with Florida blowing out Alabama. I think Tebow will be the difference, and Bama's faces will be crimson from the embarrassing, crushing defeat. Just my opinion. Good luck on your play(s)!!!
