Your boys played well after it looked like they would lay down last night. Glad to see some fight in that team in the 2nd half, even s it cost me money.

0-3 on the night as the big plays did me in. I didn't think Clemson would be capable of big plays consistently and they were. The amount of big plays in this game suprised me, and cost me my bets.

4-8 -13.7 units. More to come..

Love the under in the UCONN game.
Husky defense is solid, Heel offense is risky.
Husky QB Fraser may have trouble moving the ball, and the conditions here this morning in CT. are raw, damp, and miserable.

Bill I think we have a winner in the UConn game on the total. The play screams under to me too as the strength of each team is on Defense and neither Quaterback has done anything of note to make you think either team can run up the score. BOL to you this weekend.

Jimmy, you're one of the best ACC "specialists" here at the Rx. Therefore, I will tail you on the UNDER 46 (buy a 1/2 point) -120 at The Greek.

Let's get this play, Jimmy!

Best of luck this weekend, and thank you for all the hard work you do for us here! :toast:

Thanks fellas, the support is always appreciated. Misquoted my record above, its actually 3-7 -13.7 units

*** UNC/Uconn Under 45.5

Also Adding:
*** Wake Forest Deamon Deacons -2.5 (-115)

I think after week 1 a lot of people are down on this Deacon squad, and understandably so. They turned the ball over 4 times versus Baylor and were generally slow to start the game; falling down 24-7 before a late rally came up short. This week they get the Stanford Cardinal traveling x-country for a 12:00 pm kickoff (9 pm local time). I know they left a day early for this trip, but there is a difference between being awake early and being ready to play competitive football against a well-coached team.

Stanford had a nice win (and ATS cover) against a WSU team who are essentially starting over, but I think they run into a much tougher task in Winston Salem. I think the Deacs got an excellent primer for Stanford in Baylor in facing a run-dominant team with a quaterback who can be mobile. The difference IMO is that this is Luck's (uggh horrible name to bet against) first real test on the road and I have to wonder what will happen to him if Wake can contain the running game. I think the Wake coaching staff will have the defense key on the run and force Luck to beat them through the air.

Offensively I expect a ball control kind of game from the Deacs. Last week even with the 4 turnovers and being out-yarded by 100 yards TOP was still even. Skinner is an excellent passer and excels at exploiting defensive weaknesses and I expect Wake to go after the unproven Cardinal corners when they do throw to stretch the field and create space for their bread-and-butter running game, chop-blocking and all.

Both teams have similar athleticism and a lot of starters returning on offense. Grobe-coached teams are excellent at bouncing back after a loss and I think the early start only helps here. Wake by 10..

Thanks Capt. You were one of my favorites for NFL plays last season. BOL on the new year :toast:

*** Duke Blue Devils Pk

Taking the Devils here to get back on the good foot following a rough loss to Richmond. I'm not going to overreact to the loss to Richmond, the Spiders came in with a lot of returning players and are strong enough to beat many FBS teams, including the Eastern Michigan team that Army ran all over last week. Duke outgained and out FD-ed Richmond but struggled with finishing drives and special teams and came out a loser.

Army is going to run the ball a lot at Duke, and their success with that will go a long way in this game. Duke did a nice job against Georgia Tech last season, holding the Tech Option attack to 3.8 ypc, so I have faith in Cutcliffe's ability to contain the option. Army has a very inexperienced line and I see them having a much harder time blocking Duke than they did EMU. Oghobaase in particular is going to be key to stopping the run and I think he should be able to control the middle of the line all day.

Duke has the best player on the field in QB Lewis and I forsee them giving the Army defense (60% completion percentage allowed last year) hell all day. I think Duke is stronger on both sides of the field and @ a pick'em I have to take the value where I see it, even if it is with a beleagured Duke squad..

OOC special *** East Carolina Pirates +6.5

Been scouting this ECU team since they will play UNC next week and I have to step up and make a play here. Really like the coaching match-up here; ECU had a great gameplan last year for this team with a much more dynamic quaterback at the helm for WVU. I like what Pickney brings to the table as he is an experienced team leader and will be able to keep his team in check here. I think ECU is capable of winning 8 or 9 games this season and I will gladly take the near TD that we are getting
