Hey Jimmy I replied to one of your threads a few days ago about UVA (my school) and couldn't help but add my 2 cents again today. The biggest problem I see with the state of the team is that our home court advantage is probably one of (if not the) weakest in the ACC. As soon as we trail by double digits or so, the crowd is just taken out of it and we never recover. Basically, without a loud and strong fan base, the idea of playing the home dog just because it is a home dog starts to make less sense. That said, I agree we will probably find a way to win 1 or 2 of the remaining ACC games this season, so this may be a good spot. Still, I think I'm going to have to fade my team tonight.

Agree with your logic here friedone, but I was only kidding when I said I was playing them strictly because they are the home dog. I just have no respect for this BC team and in alot of ways this is a strong match-up for the Cavs. I like Landesburg alot and I think that Scott and Jones match-up very well with the front court of the Eagles. I agree with you about the JPJ, it is a beautiful building but they havent had a chance to see how good of an arena it will be because the Cavs have been garbage ever since they moved in. I can certainly see the BC side of this coin but I could never lay road points with this BC team; they just arent very good...
