If this team was a team that relied heavily on the pass then the Davis factor would loom much larger for alot of people. However BC seems to be comfortable winning games in the old school manner; grind out the running game and let a strong-willed defense put u in position to win. Not as exciting as chucking the ball 50 times a game but it works even today on all levels (ask the Titans). So with regards to Davis he should be as small a factor as a QB can be. I think Crane being out works in our favor as BC should actually be laying about a FG in this game so we get a little line value, and in a game with a total this low you want all the value you can get.

BC is just peaking at the right time and this is a very young VT team at the skill positions. They have a truly dominant run D (2.7 ypc in conference games) and VT just doesnt have the air attack to make them pay if they load up the box. I think BC will out-hokie VT (D, field position and special teams) and dominate this game, even if the scoreboard doesnt show it.

I noticed a lot of people are on BC. A good friend of mine who is a very skilled capper loves BC, kind of curious as to why everyone loves BC with Davis at qb?

Not saying they don't win, but I know he said that this is his favorite play of the day.

I am not seeing it, just like to get some feedback as to why so many of you are on BC.

Thanks,

VT is the 7th or 8th best team in the ACC. That's the bottom line.
