Sometimes you get winners like that. I don't think it's at all a coincidence that it was the home team getting the goal in extra time. A study showed that soccer referees tend to (unintentionally) favor home teams with longer extra time additions. I'm pretty sure it was 538.com's Nate Silver who did the research on home team advantage in all sports.
