Kimmel invokes the safety of his family every time someone has a negative viewpoint on him. He walks on a tightrope as, at any time, the Twitter can cancel him by pulling together clips from the Manshow with him in blackface, demeaning women and/or the notes above regarding his personal preferences. He saw Letterman get a pass, and the Kennedy Center award, after admitting he was pretty much raping interns. Ironically, Kimmel hosted that part of the show including Obama putting the medal around Letterman's neck. Should check those flight logs to see how many of the attendees visited the island, or Palm Beach, soon after.
