its just impressive making the playoffs for any of the 16 that do. I think in the west, all the top 8 that make it were the same teams as before Thanksgiving except for Minnesota. There are gonna be 2 or 3 really good teams in each conference that won't make it. My Canucks for example, have 93 points and aren't in yet. That many points not too many years ago was considered an outstanding season. Now it looks like they will need close to 100.

Where was I? Oh ya. The Playoffs. Don't get too confident of the regular season stats. The playoffs is a different animal. Last year your #1 goalie was injured before the playoffs and I think the Habs swept the Bolts. Too bad. You might have won a couple games if he wasn't injured.
Last point. I can't tell you how many times a team has dominated another during the regular season only to lose to them in the playoffs. The due factor or whatever you wanna call it.
