I know a couple people who have been away.One twice and he says it is much different than years ago and he's talking about minimum security places even the camps they have. Fed pen may not be as bad as state pen but saying it is not that tough is overboard.

Whatever you wish to believe, but most minimum security fed prisons, dont even have fences. I am not saying that all federal places are easy, but from the people I know who have done time at minimum places, they have said that they feel completly safe. My friend who was at the detention center never once felt that he may get in a fight or get raped.

Just saying people close to me have done time in minimum. Rochester,MN as a matter of fact which is a minium and also a medical. Lots of things go on there still. I do beleive the whole rape thing is a bit overblown. I won't get into storys but there are storys of rape,beatings, etc.
