A stock I jumped into today

I bought ISRG at 118$ per today. I hope it goes up. Anybody know anything about this company?

Intuitive Surgical makes a product which allows surgeons to make a lot of little cuts instead of one big incision during surgeries. (I think it's called a "Da Vinci System") It has been reported that surgeries which use this product result in less complications and a quicker recovery time for the patients.

I don't know much else about them other than that they have been growing very nicely and this product has the potential to become the standard during surgery. Keep an eye on medical journals to see what the doctors who use their product think of it.

I added to my ISRG postion yesterday at 123$ per. For the last 30 days I've been tracking about 15 stocks, and this is the only one that is up over that time period (plus the only one that I own). Earnings are released after the bell today and the stock should react violently one way or the other to the news. I'm just hoping it's a good report.

Alot of healthcare related stocks are getting hammered this week.

What other stocks are being touted in that newsletter you have?

What the hell is TASR doing on anyone's buy list?? Every time the device is used they PR it, what a joke.

Tasr is down over 90% from where they recommended it.

TASR had one of the greatest runs any stock has ever had. It was up about 10,000% over the course of 18 months. I remember watching it in amazement as it smashed it's way to new highs almost daily, it was really incredible.

The taser gun is one of the greatest inventions ever. It's going to save a lot of lives that would have been lost otherwise. However whoever is running the company right now isn't doing so hot.

Well it's 3 months later and I'm still down about 15 points. Earnings are released Thursday and the stock should, once again, react wildly one way or the other. I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst.


This stock was around 123 when I bought (my average price per). About 3 days later it was in the mid 90s.



This stock is definetly not for the faint of heart.
