From the "In Case You Missed It" file, on Friday Alex Rodriguez responded to Dallas Braden's interview with CSN's Mychael Urban from earlier this week. He told reporters, via ESPNNewYork.com:

"I think Major League Baseball reads the same articles as we do," Rodriguez said. "Now, look, I really don't want to extend his extra 15 minutes of fame."

A-Rod lets his position as a superstar get to his head so that he thinks he can do anything. Walking over a pitcher's mound is an act of disrespect and has been for decades. For this to be done to "a nobody" outlines the fact that he thinks he is better than other people.

I'm sure we've met people in positions above us that disrespect us by yelling at us or treating us poorly simply because they are in a higher position than us. This is universally hated and should be here as well.

Everyone deserves respect.

Also no hitters are severely over-rated. It's just another win ( sometimes even a loss).

A perfect game is more special, but still just one win.

A complete game shutout is nearly as good.
