Why is Bush's Presidency being called a failure? He did exactly what the Neo-Cons told him to do....

It was the 1st time in like forever that the Republicans had control of both houses and the executive branch and they went nuts. All appointments went to <S>business friendly candidates</S> incompetent, under qualified party hacks. They especialy went after trying to install a right wing judiciary.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

From the Washington Post:

With seven days left until he surrenders power, Bush will have to do a heck of a sales job to convince the nation of this. Further complicating his last-minute legacy rehabilitation: Nobody seems to be paying attention. The White House had high expectations for yesterday's final, historic news conference. "ONE CORRESPONDENT PER ORGANIZATION," proclaimed the bulletin sent to reporters. "STANDING ROOM ONLY FOR NON-SEAT HOLDERS." But when the appointed hour of 9:15 a.m. arrived, the last two rows in the seven-row briefing room were empty, and a press aide told White House interns to fill those seats.

The list is bit of overkill don’t you think. I mean to accomplish all of that the person would have to be god like
or maybe a messiah.

Putting Alberto in the AG post and then having Pat Robertson's college graduates monopolize law positions in that department was mind boggling!

Signing the illegal offshore gambling bill set forth by Frist & the wacky far right didn't help him with me either.

Lotsa grads from Falwell's Liberty University in the administration as well.

It's relieving that this administration rife with Dominionists and the Christian Mafia is coming to a close.
