one thing about Jake he has taking a pretty good beating, been criticized by many people , he has a pretty thick skin, especially given his age...

I`ve seen others who can`t take the SLIGHTEST hint of criticism...

jake: one thing that might help your perception as a "pro" tout. Don't post that you are too busy to calculate your record. You look like you are hiding a bad record and you look sloppy. If you are selling your picks and trying to build a business it better be top shelf, and to say that you don't have the time to compile your record makes you look like a clown.

another tip is to ignore the haters in your threads. you need a thick skin if you are going to suceed in the business. the mods aren't going to cut you any slack and get rid of those posts if they are borderline because of your tout status.

finally, you look like an amatuer when you post 10 plays in the NBA. the numbers might be there for you and you should tell your customers about them but as far as attracting new business, you are going to fail by putting up so many plays. unless you go 10-0. which you aren't going to do.

AC, as the season goes on I think I'll be able to hone my plays down better, but right now they all fall under my basis of value. I evaluate team matchups versus various teams, defense, shooting percentage, etc and set a total score for the game. If there is a 5 point difference in the total or spread, I take the game. If there is a 10 point difference, I put 2 units on it. Hopefully I'll learn to be more selective in time, but right now I just can't see any difference between the plays I'm taking as far as value goes. Also, keeping a record in 5 different sports right now is just a bitch to do every night. I tell myself I'll just catch it tommorow, but then I have 10 sets of bets to look over, and it just escalates. I'll try and do it every night though. Thanks for the input.
