Here’s a simple question.

Why does Trump campaign and focus resources on Ohio and not California?

Do you think them focusing on Ohio improves their performance in Ohio?

I mean, this is pretty much common sense. Why would the Trump campaign focus on Ohio and not California? And how do polls play into that do you think?

Do polls factor in campaigning? Do they appropriately capture the state of Ohio’s political opinions?

But no dude you’re right man, national polling is super important because Trump has a lot of resources and ground game and attention and strategy focused on New York, Chicago, and California, right?

lmao

Do you have a comprehension problem? Read the title and stop wasting my time with this nonsense. The conversation is about getting businesses going again and returning to some normalcy. If you want to get into something else, start your own thread Moron.

So nice to have breakfast at one of my favorite restaurants this morning and seeing them thriving. In addition, the owners and patrons weren't such "Karen's" that they forced their employees to wear masks (most had shields on). Other than the face covering to walk to the table, it was a completely normal meal.

We've already had 15% of restaurants go belly up (and another 10% estimated by year end). So far none of my favorites have had to bite the bullet. Hopefully the great progress continues. The system in place appears to be working.

back to the subject at hand, I have a lot of very liberal friends in Chicago who don’t like Biden for suggesting we need to go backwards on lockdowns, not forward.

Obviously they would never vote Trump, being true leftists... but the moderates around the country are very much considering voting for Trump because they know Trump will do what he can to avoid stringent lockdowns that are not necessary.

Back in March, when the country was in the initial stages of this pandemic, there was limited information available and clearly a "better safe than sorry" approach was taken. Some thought it was overkill, but I could at least be somewhat more understanding of it at that point. Clearly protocols in play at this point are working. To think it's logical to continue with lockdowns, considering the damage to the economy, is not a practical consideration. Unfortunately, there are still people that only look at one side without understanding there has always been a balance in play here. And as a matter of policy, governments make decisions all the time on what an acceptable numbers of deaths are vs the damage more restricting measures would have on society.
