It's still "a monthly fair in northeast Portland" where people are charged $120 to set up stands. It's not fair for her not to pay and take their profits. If she was allowed then you'd have the people that plopped down money saying "America has gone to shit" also...
If other people have to pay to set up stands then she should have to as well. But I didn't see that anywhere in the article.
The concern here was about public health as it was the health inspector who gave her a rough time, not a revenue inspector. In terms of health, this is no different than any other kid's lemonade stand. It shouldn't matter in terms of health whether it's at a large neighborhood event or a stand by itself which is usually allowed to be given a pass.
I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be...
