Hey Guys is it good when you go 9-3 (75%) +72.03 units in 3 days?

9-3 is great. 72.03 units is ridiculous.

Nothing makes me roll my eyes more than guys on this forum making 10, 50, 100 unit plays. It isn't what people do in the real world. In the make believe world of the internet, where you can post "5 Dime" plays and other ridiculous unit amounts, its a great way to make it look as if you are crushing the books.

Any serious player knows that putting 10 units on any 1 game is ridiculous. If I'm a $100/gm player, I'm supposed to put $1000 on each of his 10 unit plays?? If he happens to have a losing day, my bankroll is crushed.

Betting on sports takes patience and good money management. You bet a percentage of your bankroll on each play, 2% is a good number. A $10,000 bankroll can play $200 per game, with top plays being played for double (4% or $400).

Enough with this 10 unit, 5 dime, 50 unit nonsense. I can arbitrarily put any ridiculous unit amount next to my plays and make it look like I'm killing it. Enough with this crap.

Hey Biz--If you are a $100 a game player then, yes, on a 30 unit play you should put down $3,000 since my units are based on a $100. Unequivocally, the most important thing to remember about sports betting is money management. You need to establish what your bankroll is and from there you should be betting 1-3% of it. Thats a general rule of thumb. When you stray away from that philosophy is when you start chasing and getting yourself buried in a hole.

This makes absolutely no sense. None.

One the one hand, you say bet 1-3% of your bankroll.

Then you say, put $3000 on my 30 unit play.

Then, you say that straying away from the 1-3% money management philosophy will get you buried in a hole.

I couldn't make this shit up.
