But I dont think I was the only one who read all these threads and was a bit skeptical. Guy kept saying, "This is the last one of these for awhile". Then kept coming back the next day and would up the stakes.

I cant comprehend how big of a douche someone would have to be to organize a fake contest with no intention of paying.
That would probably go down as the biggest douche move in forum history.
Im not saying the guy is going to pay.
Im not saying he is going to stiff.
But what I am saying is why in the heck is this even an issue right now?
He told everyone he was going to pay on Monday.
Its Saturday.
That would be like getting mad at the weather man for saying on Thursday its going to rain on Saturday. Then Friday gets here with no rain and you curse the weather man out.
Believe me. I will be the 1st in line to give him hell if he fails to pay.
But come on folks.
Its not time for that.
My advice for right now is for everyone to calm down and let it all play out.
Killer Sox if I were you I would not go spending that money yet, but at the same time would not get nervous about not getting it either.

Getting 6k out of an offshore book is not an easy process.
Heck sending 6K over the internet period is not an easy or quick process especially on the weekend.

I have to agree that it's insane to think that some stranger will just hand over 6 grand to some guy he met on a message board, just think of what's going through his mind as he stands in line at Western Union to wire that money, like thinking he could put a down payment on a new car or something...

I dont understand what the meaning of that thread is.
The only thing I could come up with was maybe he was saying he was a ghost of GTC and Sumday.
He said he was in the process of moving from Canada to the USA.
If thats not a lie I imagine he is pretty busy right now.
I wont start wondering till Tuesday.

Sumday started an MLB thread two years ago and would constantly fudge his record. I didn't post in that thread, but in the Poly Forum when Sumday would act like a jerkoff I'd remind him of it. There was also a Big Brother thread started by Bucsfan that Sumday completely destroyed. No one ran to the mods faster than Sumday. I have PMs from Wil BEGGING me not to post in any thread he posted in, which I obliged.
When Sum returned as Jag I went out of my way to not argue with him, despite his rants against the US and his calls for the president and his family to be "lined up and shot," and that the US "bought 9/11 on ourselves." I don't think he is also gtc08. But obviously the guy is a mess who craves attention. When he returns, and he will, his new ghost will be easy to spot.
