I haven't been on the RX for the past week, so just spent last 20 mins reading thing thread...
I am really disappointed in all the guys jumping to the conclusion that this guy isn't going to pay.... He has mentioned his move to the US several times, I am sure he is very busy. On top of it, like BAS said, he said hell take care of it Monday.... What if he was awaiting to recieve a payout first.. what if he had things planned this weekend and so Monday was the earliest he could take care of it? What if he couldn't get to the bank until then? Really, doesn't matter what the reason is, we're not owed one. Monday was just days away, it wasn't months or even a week.... There was no reason not to be patient and give the guy a couple days to wire a nice chuck of change.
Now, he comes back and just sees 7 pages of him getting ripped.... Now I always pay my debts, but it cannot be easy to give away $6,000, that the winner got it RISK FREE, and see yourself just getting called out from everyone. If anything was said, I would expect it to be positive, and rightfully so..... In fact, when I saw that this thread had that many pages, I knew he hit it! I was excited, as I am sure was Killar, and as was jaguara. Jag prob went from such a high to a crashing low once he saw the negativity. ANYONE would be pissed off. You do a nice thing and get ripped for it??? What?? The world is too cyncial....
I saw the word jealously used and I think that's dead on. So many of us cannot imagine giving away $6k so it must be fake. Just because you cannot/wont give away $6k doesn't mean that he is not legit.
Now, I don't have $6k to give away, in fact winning that would of made a nice impact on my life. But I do believe Jaguara was sincere. In fact, the first time he did this, it came down to the last game. I sweated it out to the point, I had to leave, and I wasn't even involved. I fully believe Jaguara. Could I be wrong, sure wouldn't be the first time. But why would anyone do this again and again and again if they had no intentions of paying? It's only a matter of time before it hits and his "true" character is revealed. This isn't logical.
Jag IMHO knew he was going to evenutally hit, and he did a very generous thing, something most of us would/could never do. IMO the reason Jag did this over and over and over again was because he wanted to hit one and share the wealth. It's really irrational and hard for me to imagine some one doing this repeatly when they had no intentions of paying. Just doesn't make sense to do it that many times .
As far as Killar is concerned, it couldn't happened to a better guy from the RX. All my interactions with him have been great. I am glad to see that he won the money. Jag, that was EXTREMELY kind of you! You've told us your story of coming from nothing, and wanting to share your good fortune, there are very few people that would of done this on the anonymous world of the internet, but to me thats that true definition of sharing/giving.
