I am an expert in the entertainment field. These sporting events more often than night is a form of baby sitting. You see a kid at an NHRA event, more often than night the kid doesnt give a rats ass but was dragged their by a parent. I see it all the time at Angel games, the kids are NOT wathcing the game, they are playing tag around the hotdog stand. People that attend motor sports are the dregs of society.

Certainly some sports are more dangerous to watch than others especially before more safety precautions that have been implemented around auto racing but the truth is these days the ride from your home to the stadium is more dangerous than viewing any actual sporting event.

This is really the best way to look at it Wil. Most people don't get up in arms about how dangerous driving a car is. It's best to keep things in perspective at how relatively few times someone gets killed at a sporting event.

Jesus, get off your high horse. It's like wrestling and UFC and everything else. It's entertainment. I wouldn't cross the street to see Monster Trucks, but people get into it. It's terrible that a youngster got hit, but it's a 1 in a 100,000 shot. There's probably one of your precious Little Leaguers that die when there hit by a pitch each year. It's fate. Not disgusting.

Killed by being hit with a LL pitch ?

I doubt it.

Do you honestly even think before something comes out of your mouth?!

WTF is wrong with you...motor sports are great fun (NASCAR, Formula 1, Dakar, etc), and obviously something you don't know shit about.

What is wrong with a parent taking their kid to a race..it doesn't matter if the kid doesnt give a shit .. its the same deal with fathers taking their sons to their first baseball game .. it is something you do to share memories together when you have family!

Just because you don't like something, doesn't make the people who do the "dregs of society".

Entertainment expert my ass, you sound like an overly arrogant prick that doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. Get a life! :finger:

<!-- end .related-media -->TACOMA, Wash. – Debris flew into the grandstands at a monster truck show in Washington state, killing a 6-year-old boy and injuring another spectator, witnesses and fire officials said Saturday.
A red truck came apart while doing doughnuts during the freestyle competition of Friday night's Monster Jam show, the witnesses said. Debris flew 30 to 50 feet over a safety barrier into the stands.
"Parts were falling off and a piece flew up and hit a little boy," Christine Moe told King Television of Seattle.

My son loves it, We went last year and will be going again this week...

Truth? It is as redneck as you can get. The people there are usually toothless...but boys love it and I promised...

I would have loved it if my Dad woulda taken me when I was a kid but no way that was happening

freak accident that no words can describe...

See here in America we have the right to go see whatever we want. You always preach about bad people but yet you make this statement like you are a better person. You are a scumbag that needs an askicking.

So sad you are

I one day want to be like Railbird and want to pass judgement on what others view as entertainment as "trailer trash"

I too want to look down my nose at others and pretend that I am better than them.

Until today Railbird, I read alot of your posts, read alot of peoples opinions on you (mostly negative), and have not rendered an opinion negative or positive about you. I have to be honest here and tell you that I am starting to understand everyones' points in regards to you.

Obviously you are no expert on anything but what is on your small brain. I have been going to monster truck events with my grand boys for several years and they get more enjoyment out of that night than any night of the year. Sure they should make the event as safe as possible and my heart goes out to the family. But you stance on the subject just shows how idiotic and truly clueless you are about life in general. When you grow up maybe somebody will want to listen to your worthless druel.

Other than horse racing motor sports are the most attended event in north america.
I guess in your kingly opinion there is a lot of scumbags out there.

And no i`ve never attended a car race or a monster truck show.

Stick to capping left coast basketball(which u are pretty good) because it seems you are extremely aloof in other facets of society
