They are always helpful in live help to me.

Although I have never had a problem that needed to be fixed, just simple questions.

I too have had problems with 5dimes customer service as so have many other people. In fact, some people won't bet with them for this reason alone.

I usually use the live chat option on their web site since they used to sell your phone number if you called in using your cell phone or home phone. Sometimes I will ask a question and they won't type anything. They wait for over a full minute before typing something.

However, I recently have had a couple occasions with their live help that were very nice. They were professional and answered my questions in a timely manner. Hopefully they are hiring better people realizing that they may be losing customers due to their past poor customer service.

Sounds like their problems are pretty widespread and well known in the industry. I should have done more research on them before doing business with them. I only hope I won't have any problem getting my money back out of them, as I am going to take my business elsewhere.

Based on all of this, it is amazing they are able to stay in business if so many people have problems with them. I posted this so other players can have fair warning about 5dime's extreme PROBLEMS so they don't have to endure what I had to endure today.

Wrong, he probably would have told you to go fuck yourself and hung up, either that or he would have asked you what the problem was, laughed at you and then told you to go fuck yourself and then hang up.

Sounds like you are speaking from 1st hand experience with the man.

Fast payouts. Sometimes you gotta take the bad with the good.

Not to mention they wide amount of wagers that cannot be matched.

Well he has never been shy about letting people know what he really feels. He probably wouldnt be happy about a Cust Serv Rep hanging up on you, Im sure he would much rather do it himself.

I do business with them because I don't have to deal with their CS very often. I make my bets based upon who has the best line and 5dimes sometimes has the best line. I figure the trade-off with their CS is worth a better line.

What exactly did they say before they hung up?

I said that I would like the problem corrected as soon as possible or I will take my business elsewhere. When I called back the supervisor scolded me saying, how dare you threaten us that you will take your business elsewhere!!! I again was in shock that a CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR was much much much worse than her underling. I said I am sorry if you are having a bad day, or you are angry, but please don't take it out on me, her tone got worse but I held my composure. The whole ordeal was shocking.

Ive had my share of problems with them over prop bets, incorrectly graded wagers and the such. You will never win arguing with them so it isnt worth your time or effort. You pay for their mistakes at times. I cant believe you are causing a stink over $10 though! Is it really worth the aggravation?

They have a lot of options on games and events. Second to none IMO. They also have reduced juice on MLB and foots and hoops on gameday. I always use the Live Chat. Never a problem there or with any payouts. Thats why I still play there.

The $10 is not the issue at this point, being hung up on, and scolded by a customer service employee is the issue. I am just glad that I don't have alot on account with them at this point. This is a matter how people get treated not money at this point. I am a professional in life and expect to be treated like one as long as I conduct myself in a professional manner, and it pisses me off to be treated like shit from a $10 an hour clerk.

I just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of the risk they were taking in dealing with an unprofessional company. I only wish there were more posts of this type as it is a public service announcement in a sense.

I hear ya. However, its like discussing things on here with some people......you arent dealing with the most educated and well rounded moralistic people. It's a shady industry with crooks, thieves and hustlers.

I have always done courier. FEDEX. Been a while since I cashed out. So hopefully its just as fast as it used to be.

To those saying don't make a big deal since the error (not the bet amount) was $10, just stop! There is no excuse for poor customer service under any circumstances. If you were asked to call back & you followed their request & they were still rude, I would be pissed too.

Their C/S has been shitty for years. Hell they were more friendly years ago when Samantha was there but that goes back to like the late 90's or some shit. Either way their C/S is filled with rude assholes & overall Tony has an asshole type personality but I can handle that as he is a straight shooter with his feelings. I've had it out with him numerous times. However they have many betting options which suit what I play & they will always be one of my main outs. I rarely have a need to speak to C/S so it is no big deal personally.

I still wouldn't diminish the fact that the poster has the right to be angry.

I have always heard of how 5dimes customer service is the worst there is, but I never had any issues with them until today. I was trying to have an error corrected in my account and was hungup on by them. I then called back and asked for a supervisor and the lady was combative. DON'T USE 5DIMES IF YOU WANT A DEPENDABLE BOOK.

Been using 5dimes for over 5 years with ZERO problems. They have been a first class book for me throughout

I've dealt with 5dimes for a few years now and there are a couple of women there who honestly believe they own the fucking place. I can't recall both their names, though I do know one of them is Becky. Actually come to think of it, the name Nicole rings a bell as being the other one. On the phone they can be as abrupt as anyone you have ever dealt with before and I in turn simply refuse to take it from them. If they're nice and polite with me, I am the same with them but when they are abrupt, as I said, in their manner and tone of voice, I immediately turn the tables right back on them. You can usually catch on wjat you're going to be dealing with as soon as they answer the phone. The way I look at it is I'm helping pay their fucking salaries and they had best acknowledge that fact. As for payouts, I find the best and easiest way to receive payouts from them (5Dimes) is through Instadebit.
