If the Giants are +2.5, I'd just go for Giants ML. Sure, they could lose by 1-2 points (like last week), but you're likely going to be missing out on value if you win this bet; they will have likely won the game if they cover.
Conversely, I don't see the point of buying a favorite on the ML if the spread is below -3.
If the Eagles are -2.5, go ahead and pick them ATS. Why would anyone pick Eagles ML in this situation? Are they going to win by exactly 1-2 points? Maybe they do, but it again seems like if you win with Eagles ML, you are probably missing value.

Strongest play today is the Broncos, who will likely win outright. Rams are not efficient at stopping the rush. Hawks ran all over them and the Broncos fare well on the run. This is the first time Goff is playing in Mile High. NFLTrends brought to my attention that there is a 70% chance of snow with a high of 27. Goff is not a cold weather qb, coming from California college team. Goff and the Rams offense will under-perform. Keenum is due for better game, Von Miller and Broncos D will deliver. They virtually beat the best team KC and will redeem themselves with a win here. Rams pushed against Vikings, barely beat the Hawks not covering and are inching towards an outright loss. Take the points for a comfortable cover.
