Don't even try this SHIT, it's not right to start with, and can easily result in a bet you can't win, but can lose.

Ideally the book with the bad line should never ever make a bad line, but that's not realistic. Give the first guy that catches it $20 or so, is realistic. A clerk shouldn't have to try to hide his error.... better to fix it, and eat the $20.

5dimes cuts and pastes a lot of lines and given their huge variety mistakes are bound to happen.

Because of the various obscure stuff they will post, they are more likely to make an error than a plain vanilla book.

If you are betting obscure events and leagues with them it would be unwise to take shots at them like this as you will likely not be able to find that line elsewhere.

I have always notified them of anything glaring if it is something I wanted to bet and sometimes, but not all, they have rewarded me. It is getting rarer, but like I said it may not be an out you can afford to lose.

5Dimes was one of the first books I used when I started playing offshore (back in 1999-2000). I didn't really bet soccer, but for some reason I was checking out their lines and noticed some glaring errors where they had the wrong start time (games in Europe). There was once a game that was already final and they still had it listed as starting in hour. I put around $300 on that game in order to make it not look too obvious. A friend of mine considered me an idiot for not going all in. There was another time they had a big favorite listed as the dog (the start time was correct). In the end it didn't really matter, I never took a withdrawal and eventually went clean and had to re-up.

At the time I never considered it my responsibilty to correct them. My attitude has changed somewhat and I'm sure they don't make those kind of mistakes very often anymore. It's ancient history and I won't be apologetic.

I don't see how it's unethical. Who's responsibility is it to make sure the lines are "correct"? Not the bettors. They offered a line and someone liked it enough to bet on it. That's how gambling works.
