So, Trump signs off on stimulus bill but talks are still on going for 2000?
No way
Lost all leverage
Gonna spend all that money on foreign aid and whatever and no way it will be increased
Lost respect for Trump here

Agree 100% with this. Trump gave up.

I wonder who talked him into signing this piece of shit bill.

I have lost respect for him signing this

You have to be in a position of power to negotiate and leverage a deal. Trump is not. He could have passed on it and it would have just been signed in 23 days. The stimulus bill was an add on to a spending bill that included the 1/2% of pork, which is not unusual at all for these spending bills. Should the pork have been added to the spending bill....no. Is it unusual in any way....no. And you will be screaming for the rest of your lives if you think it's going to change as long as career politicians are able to exist. Wasted effort. The focus should be on term limits.

Whether you agree with the 2k or not, not sure what else Trump could do.

Senate GOP doesn't want to do it and by pressing the issue, it'll potentially complicate things for them in Georgia in a week. He really didn't have much leverage to bully pulpit them.

He had the bully pulpit and leverage back in October so could've tried to get it done then if he wanted but ship has likely sailed. I'd be decently surprised if Senate GOP went with 2k per.

Wish someone woulda snuck term limits into page 3 thousand or something cause they aren’t gonna read it and then we can finally have a bill with something everyone can be happy about.

First of all do you really believe that money for Pakistan Gender Studies is really going for that?

If that money even is really going to Pakistan it is not going for gender studies, I can guarantee you that.

If it is not really for Pakistan then what clandestine project is it really for?

What 3 letter piece of shit agency in the U.S. government is getting it and what are they going to do with

Both sides can eat my dick
Republicans are right about wanting the other measures dealt with
All 3 of these issues are a no brainer

The fact we cannot agree on the money, dealing with election fraud and dealing with these tech giants and their censorship and control is ridiculous

Ya think?

Which party is it that refuses to address those issues?

McConnel said he'll sign for the $2000.00 checks.

What right minded person would be against redesignating Big Tech as publishers when they censor free speech at will?

And who in their right mind wouldn't want free and fair elections?

Let's hear the board liberals defend these Democratic positions.

Waiting.
