Because this is Allen's best opportunity to get past the Chiefs

Finally has this game at home

He's never beaten a top 4 seed in the playoffs. 0-4

He's gotta get it done

AFCCG I get you could make argument cuz it was later in the playoffs, but they were kind of playing with house money
Allen's record is better in the playoffs in every statistical category. Meaning, he steps up and does his part.

"13 seconds" wasn't his fault but if you want to include games like that in your 0-4 stash tagging him a loser, you'll be the one to lose money over the long term. Just like when you believed the Bills were done at 6-6 (under Dorsey) while the babysoft "contending" Dolphins had already won the division.

Bills are 7-1 under Brady since that low point, and frankly should be 8-0.

Certain numbers can be very, very misleading.

Allen is the only reason the Bills have a chance today the way I see it. Rest of the team doesn't do it for me, especially how banged up they are and how many guys are out today.

?

I made a post saying 13 seconds wasn't his fault. It was McDermott/the rest of the team's fault. Allen did his part.

I'm just citing a fact -- he's 0-4 in the playoffs against teams who are seeded in the top 4. And this is his best opportunity to get over that hump

You also mistakenly said the 13 seconds game was the AFC CG, but it was not.

The Chiefs didn't make the Super Bowl that year. Your boy Joey B did :)

The Bills should be able to run the ball collectively. Cook + Allen, and a good offensive line. Chiefs are pretty vulnerable against the run.

But that is going to come down to them sticking with a run-heavy game plan, and not relying on Allen to carry them.

I've been pretty hard on Beane for his shitty draft record, but Kincaid, Shakir and Cook look like young studs and the future of the Buffalo Bills. Joe Brady is working them nicely into the playbook

Stefon Diggs.. Meh, looks to be on the decline on the way out.

Yes they can be deceiving. You could make the argument the other way

Beat Easton Stick by 2 points, Patriots team that gifted them 4 turnovers inside their own 30 in the first 20 minutes of the game by 6. Overall they were outplayed in Arrowhead but Toney was offsides

They haven't been dominant by any stretch. They played their best ball in Weeks 2-4 in my opinion.

All that said, I do like that they are relying less on Allen and more on the overall ground game. Allen can't make as many mistakes if he is forced to do too much

This is Allen/Bills time. They gotta get it done this year

We all know how this ends if the Bills lose today. Pretty predictable you will be trashing Allen again. I'd rather look at reasons why games turn out the way they do, than trashing a QB all the time. It benefits me to look at the whole picture. I'm not even on Buffalo today saying this.
I do have nice futures on them, but believe their season ends today.

It will depend on how the game plays out

Allen didn't deserve blame for the 13 seconds loss

Avo, I hate to tell you this but the Bills never had to be "dominant" in the regular season to win a SB. Biggest loss of the season was against your Bengals - 6 points. Meaning what? They're in every game. I get it, kinda shitty for bettors analysing double-digit spreads not knowing which team will show up, but it is what it is..

Remember, the breakdancing Dolphins (AFC East Champs*) are the glitzy "dominant" ones bullying dogshit teams week in and week out while sending 6 of their players to the Pro-Bowl. (Bills have barely two, not named Allen 😂)

How's Stroud looking now that he faced a ferocious top 5 defense? Still everyone's top 5?

I'm sorry, but you have to consistently perform well and beat the good teams to be considered "elite" in the NFL. Yet most analysts have Tua and Dak rated higher than Allen. Must be because he's a white racist. lol

I think Allen was 6-1 against winning teams this year. At this point he is what he is - Top 5 QB his entire prime.

Allen has McDermott
Mahomes has Andy Reid

What Allen needs is a SB coach to take a serious run at the NFL's all time Best of the Best...Favre, Brady, Manning etc.

I don't know any analysts who have Dak and Tua ahead of Allen in QB rankings

You kinda hit the nail on the head though with not knowing what to expect with the Bills. They have been inconsistent, and most of the time unable to cover #'s

I'm torn.

Do I want the Bills to lose with a chance at the GOAT? While never hearing the end of it from guys like Avo? (Short term pain for long term gain)

Or Allen going beast mode dummying the Chiefs while keeping McDummy?

Hmmm...

Everyone and their brother on the Chiefs.

Only reason I'm taking the Chiefs today is because of the Bills defense and how banged up they are. Huge advantage the way I see it.
Allen can have the game of his life today, and still lose.
You have to look at the whole roster other than Allen.
you nailed it. made them look like the Chiefs of yesteryear

you work for Goldman Sach's NFL department?

Bulletin board material for Mahomes

Bills players calling their QB the best in the league publicly

Just dumb on so many levels

0-2 vs Chiefs and now at home with the Chiefs worst team. I can accept not winning the SB especially if they lose to 49ers or Ravens but not this game. NOPE.
Teams beat better teams sometimes. Just gotta step up and do it. Even if you believe Chiefs currently are better.
yup

despite the mash unit on dee, the coach's brainfart , and Josh turning over the ball late at midfield (fumble went their way) they STILL were in a position to win the game. Need their QB to move the team down and push it in....on HOME soil ;

2 min warning at KC 26 yr line and KC with only 2 TOs

run
incomplete pass
incomplete pass

lol. he just didnt get it done . hard to not see him in a different light now .

Lamar is in the same boat-- massive game for him. Put up OR shut up

They did a good job through 3 quarters, but then the offense stalled

Should be said, two poor decisions on those incomplete passes -- no reason to try for the end zone on EITHER play.

Had Diggs wide open on second down but threw a duck to the end zone instead.
