rocco played great for 1 week . not sure if that justifies a captains pick.
it did vault him to 16th in the trumped up standings.. maybe if he can play great for 1 more week , he'll jump to 8th.

I think the key here is picking someone who is peaking at the right time..I don't want him to pick a big name player who may have been peaking in May, but may not have it come September..Some of the players like Hunter Mahan are just now starting to play well. Woody Austin is a crazy cat, but he's starting to play very well, and he's been around the leader board for the last couple weeks..Plus he did very well in the Presiden't Cup. There's no reason to think he wouldn't play well in the Ryder. Same goes with Bubba Watson and Rocco Mediate.
