I just saw the replay of the goal. Müller was the only player to break on the ball after it was kicked. Horrible, horrible defense by the Uruguayans. I mean, who doesn't break toward the goal when a kick on goal is made??? Even if it goes toward the goalee. What if it bounces off like it did there?

I've been really disappointed at the level of play by some teams in this tournament.

Both teams had nothing to lose and they are playing like it.

I have no regrets putting my money on Uruguay. They are, according to the Guardian newspaper, the best pound-for-pound footballing nation in the World, with only 4 million population, 2 time world champions and now a semi-finalist.

They don't quit (just like the Germans) and that's all you can really ask for.
