Republican Distortion: I will post all bills for 48 hours, I will enable all Americans to review and offer feedback on the bill. Reality: nobody sees what some call the most important legislation in modern history, not even Congress.
Truth: The Stimulus has been widely debated - Ad Nauseum. You can go to sites like stimuluswatch.org and find out for yourself.
Republican Distortion: My administration will be transparent. Reality: The most back room, back door, hidden, secretive policy negotiations since the last time we had the Democrats controlling everything. It's Newt that opened up committee meetings, the witch bitch shuts them down (ever wonder why?)
Truth: Obamas administration has had more press conferences and been more open with the Americans than the last Republican President during his first 25 days in Office
Republican Distortion: Promise: I will govern with bipartisanship. Reality: The GOP is completely shut out of the process while I mock them and intentionally distort their positions. There is no opportunity to debate policy (ever wonder why?)
Truth: Obama has reached out across the aisle going so far as to appoint Republicans. While the Party of division(Republicans) doesnt understand that Americans turned its back on Republican politics last election the Republicans fail to compromise to turn around the mistakes that they made during Bushs administration.
REPUBLICAN DISTORTION: Promise: I will have the most ethical administration in history (don't even know how you can quantify that to begin with). Reality: I nominate tax frauds and even put a tax fraud in charge of the IRS, priceless.
Truth: This is debateable as he is only 25 days into his administration and making false outrageous claims like this just shows how disappointed the Republican Kooks have become. The "tax fraud" (another republican distortion) charges have all been dealt with SWIFTLY and OPENLY.
Republican Distortion: Promise: The politics of fear is over. Reality: the biggest fearmongerer we have ever seen, and a dumb one at that. "If we don't pass my earmark package immediately, without debate, the whole country will collapse.
Truth: While we have had our fair share of WMDs coming from the Republicans we can not know for 100% whether or not the country could collapse. Many economists think so and it is debateable.
Republican Distortion: Promise: I will undue the failed economic policies of the past eight years. Reality, he doubles down on everything Bush did so far, and changed nothing.
