that's the problem -- it's nearly impossible to find out what some of the plays were. so, for this project, here is what i plan to do:

i will use what is posted on the service plays threads at ...

--The Rx
--Cappers Mall
--Cappers Lounge

Once I narrow the "search" down to about 20 tails and five or so fades, I will pick exclusively from them. Since it's getting late in NCAAB, it might be too late before any real info is collected (as has been the case thus far in some of the threads), but this will be great for MLB ... to start from Day 1, etc.

Good Idea. If you can list them in alphabetic order it would make it easier to find a particular service if tailing.:howdy:

The Booooj...

Wouldn't mind seeing him tracked. I know from experience that he is money in football, but I'm still trying to figure out what I think of him in other sports. I know he doesn't release as many plays in others though. Look forward to seeing your site.

For those of you who want to be added to the mailing list, send an email to capperswatch@gmail.com. Several people have already inquired, but I want to make sure I'm sending it to everyone. It will be sent out three times weekly.

Also, here is another "basic" idea that I plan to have. I'm trying to take everyone's suggestions. I think alphabetizing is a great idea, but I'm also thinking about reordering everyone based on won-loss record. That way, you can scroll from top to bottom and sort by win percentage.

Then again, with an excel spreadsheet, you'll be able to do that anyway.

I am also going to color code the entire spreadsheet. Red will indicate hot, and blue will indicate cold. This way, you won't have to spend much time taking a look at who you should ride and who you should fade. I will also highlight with yellow cappers who are rising and in green those who are falling -- different things like that, in addition to LAST 10, etc. I'm still coming up with ideas and trying to put this all together.

Again, I appreciate the input.

Here's a new mock spreadsheet to look at: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pzdvF2P6sQPI1mB6vSdcBXw

You will notice that just because a capper "appears" bad, there might be areas where he has success. If you look at the mock John Fina example I used, most would shy away because of a 10-12 record. But, a closer look reveals that he's 8-0 in picking totals. So, taking him on over/unders might be to your advantage, and with a color-coded spreadsheet, you will be able to spot this easily without much effort.

I've seen some threads on this site that has attempted to track handicappers, and decided that this is an endeavor that I could handle quite easily since I have way too much time on my hands.

I've created a web site, www.capperswatch.wordpress.com, that I plan to update daily every morning (it should look cleaner than a message board post, and no, I won't be spamming the site here... ever). In addition, I will be making a spreadsheet that will be available to anyone/everyone. If desired, I can add you to my mailing list and send the spreadsheet out daily.

Here's an example of what the spreadsheet will look like: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pzdvF2P6sQPI1mB6vSdcBXw

I am open to suggestions as to categories you would like to see added. I want to track "top plays" and GOM's for sure, and I would like to track totals and sides, streaks, etc. I have assembled a team of three that will assist me in keeping the site updated regularly.

In addition, I hope to make it sort of fun. I want to post lots of informative pieces, etc., so as to help us cash in!!

Anyway, please list the cappers you want tracked. Denote whether you want them as a "fade" as well.

Here are a few that I've come up with:

Indian Cowboy
Brandon Lang (fade)
ATS Lock Club (fade)
Deano
Kelso
Taw Jackson
Big Al
The Prez
:dancefool

EDIT: if you would like to be on the mailing list to receive the spreadsheet, please e-mail a request to capperswatch@gmail.com. It will be sent out three times weekly.

Any others that we're missing? Surely there are other cappers you guys want tracked consistently every day.

I would put Pointspreadpros.com on there if you want I"ve been consistenly following him and I try to post them everyday I think Can't pick a winner posts it also from time to time. I am signed up with him most weeks but even when i'm just posting the Bonus Plays i get from him he's still consitenly money as far as i'm concerned. He's around 68 percent so far on his 3 unit and above and he only does nba. It will be nice if your spreadsheet works out it will be a real timesaver when deciding who to tail.
thanks for doing this.

hello, pretty new to forum

Hey, I think this is a great idea and Im glad you're doing it. Could someone please tell me what "fade" means?
Also, if you post ATS Lock Club, would it just be basketball? I followed their football, and now basketball. I was just curious how their Hockey Lock Club does?
Glad to be a part of the forum, I guess I will start communicating now instead of just watching from the sidelines
