My son-in-law did the #'s crunching on this one using my totals system while I was busy. Just showed me his reasoning. I agree totally!

If you use umpires, and I believe you said you did, surprised you played the Under with Marquez behind the plate in the Phil/Atl game

I had to be on the road early yesterday and posted plays well before home plate umps were even listed. Used other stats. Didn't work out well at all. Not making any excuses the stats I put into the system didn't pan out yesterday. On a good note, last time there was a day like yesterday the following day for some odd reason was a great day for this system.

You are 100% correct. Now looking back without knowing who would be behind the plate when I released my plays, Marquez is a totally over Ump. Averaging 10.2 runs a game the last 2-3 seasons when he is behind the plate. Although even with 5 runs scored in the 1st inning the game went over by the hook 5-4. Waiting on umps as that will give one good edge for todays games. BUT many other factors are put into this as well. I do think if I had incorporated Marquez stats that game might have been a no play. But I'll take it on the chin and get right back up and start another strong winning run starting today.

When Game 1 Umps are announced, the remaining games are also known.

Umpires rotate clockwise. Home goes to 3rd, 3rd to 2nd, 2nd to 1st, and 1st to home.

Good luck today.....
