With her victory in the 200 free, Katie Ledecky becomes just the third woman to win both the 200 and 400 free in the same Olympics. She is the first since 1972.

The U.S. played to a 2-2 draw against Colombia in Manaus.
The U.S. got off to a strong start, controlling possession and creating scoring chances in the first 15 minutes.
However, it was Colombia who opened the scoring. In the 26th minute, Catalina Usme took a free kick that slipped through Hope Solo’s legs into the back of the net. The goal is the first that the U.S. has allowed at the 2016 Olympics.
<strike></strike>The U.S. quickly went on the front foot looking for the equalizer.

In the 30th minute, Crystal Dunn had a deflected cross that went off the crossbar and fell to Megan Rapinoe who had her shot saved by Colombian goalkeeper Sandra Sepulveda.
Rapinoe, who was subbed out in the 33rd minute, appeared in her first match of 2016 after suffering a torn ACLin December 2015.
The U.S. found a goal late in the first half. After Carli Lloyd’s shot was saved and deflected off the crossbar, Dunn stormed into the box to score the rebound, making it 1-1.

<strike></strike>The U.S. took the lead just before the hour mark as Mallory Pugh became the youngest player to score for the U.S. in Olympics history. Pugh, who turned 18 in April, gathered a cross from Dunn and struck a shot through a sea of defenders to give the U.S. a 2-1 lead. <strike></strike>
In the 90th minute, Usme found the net again. This time off a free kick from a much tighter angle than her first.
The draw gives the U.S. seven points in group play as it finishes at the top of Group G. Colombia has been eliminated from the Olympic competition.

Showstopper. Michael Phelps edged Japan's Masato Sakai by four-hundredths of a second to take back the 200 butterfly crown he lost four years ago to South Africa's Chad le Clos. After the race, Phelps sat on the lane line and held one finger from both hands high above his head to signify "No. 1." Phelps will swim the anchor leg in the 4x200 relay later Tuesday night.
