To try and give some UNDERSTANDING of the level to which Katie Ledecky's domination in that event that the Video in my previous post showed she's 1.5 percent better than any woman ever.

As Michael J. Joyner of the Mayo Clinic told Dave Sheinin of the Washington Post, "She's dominating by the widest margin in international sport. ... One or 2 percent in the Tour de France, over about 80 hours of racing, would be 30 or 40 minutes. It's just absolutely remarkable."


(Actually, 1.5 percent of 80 hours would be 72 minutes, but who's counting?)



But what's more incredible is the 800-meter free is just one of Ledecky's many fortes.



As is the case on dry land with track, the vast majority of swimmers stick to either short or long distance. You wouldn't find a world-champion marathon runner squaring off with Usain Bolt in a 100-meter sprint or vice versa. There's such a drastic physiological difference between the two events that it's all but physically impossible to become a star in both realms.

Me to Dog......36 years old......Asking a lot for her to beat 25 year olds these days.

I swear to God I had my finger on the Trigger on FLIPKENS...was just gonna be Parlay Fodder anyways, was the whole reason I was even looking at a -274 Venus Line....if it was even THAT LOW.....might have been -234.....

I could not make the move though cuz I just don't know enough about Tennis and I know even less than that about "Flipkens".

I can sometimes "Read a Line" though and that one was yelling:

"Take a Flipkens CHANCE HERE."



THANKS for hipping me to SWIMMING stuff. I need to pay more mind to that, specially since Brazil Girls handing their business up 2-0 nearing HALFtime last time I checked. :toast:

Legs 3 & 4 (Cait & Bronte Campbell) SMOKED USA's legs 3 & 4. Cait, Leg 3 made up a good defecit to give the 2nd Campbell a lead then off the wall, flip towards the final 50m Katie Ledecke wasn't THAT far behind but when that final leg Campbell, Bronte emerged from underwater she was WAAAAAY ahead of Katie Ledecky.

And that race, that when it hit that Final Wall...was probably too much for Katie to make up..

...but off that wall, whatever Bronte Campbell did......that race was OVER.
