With the 20th pick, the Jets select Ohio State LB Darron Lee. They took him over LB Myles Jack and QB Paxton Lynch. Lee is undersized, but fast. The Jets want to improve their team speed.
New Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson will need shoulder surgery that will sideline him for 4-6 months at some point, probably after next season, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports.
He looks good in that video above.
Darron Lee's impact should come early in the Jets sub-packages. Speed and versatility to align in multiple spots. Can walk out over the slot, cover space in zone coverage and run with tight ends.

The Redskins traded their pick to the Texans, who selected Notre Dame WR Will Fuller with the 21st pick of the 2016 NFL draft after moving up one spot.

Fun fact: Texans first round pick Will Fuller was committed to Bill O'Brien at Penn State but de-committed in August of O'Brien's first season and went to Notre Dame instead. The switch came shortly after the NCAA sanctioned Penn State, but Fuller said at the time the sanctions didn't impact his decision. O'Brien isn't holding a grudge it seems.
Eagles coach Doug Pederson tells Sal Paolantonio that his interest in former North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz started way back at the senior bowl. Pederson also puts to rest rumors surrounding the QB position. "This is Sam Bradford's team."
And now after Houston selects receiver Will Fuller the Redskins are back on the clock with the 22nd pick. They still have their choice among defensive linemen Jarran Reed, A'Shawn Robinson and Vernon Butler. Or the Redskins could continue to try and trade back. Their trade with Houston brought back a sixth-round choice in 2017. General manager Scot McCloughan wants to add more picks to this year's class so more trading is possible.
Will Fuller can take the top off the defense with his 4.3 speed. Explosive player. Flip the field. Good compliment to DeAndre Hopkins in Houston.
An intriguing subplot for the Seahawks: UCLA LB Myles Jack remains on the board. There are obvious questions about his knee, but the Seahawks believe strongly in their sports science program. If Jack is available at No. 26, GM John Schneider and coach Pete Carroll could gamble on his upside.
