i cant understand why in the world chop would pick payton, i know he is a homer, but damn 5-8 with a old qb there

No mention of Jim Caldwell? Lions have been a great story and he deserves it more than Del Rio... everyone expected the Raiders to contend this year and he has key youngsters all in their prime (Cooper, Carr, Murray). Hency why Oakland's win total was 8.5 despite not having a winning record since 2002. Theyre doing what the country expected of them and a little more.

Everyone, however, had the Lions finishing in 3rd or 4th in that division without CALVIN JOHNSON, arguably a top-5 WR of all-time. Coach of the Year has to be Koetter, Caldwell or Garrett... some consideration for Mike Mularkey and maybe even Andy Reid (KC's injuries) as well
