It took me 4 (FOUR) Strikeouts in the 9th by Mets Bullpen to get the W on the under, 2nd SO was Wild Pitch and (naturally) Mets Catcher could not find the ball so guy made it to first.
Mets plated 6 (SIX) within their first 2 at bats leaving 7.5 Innings to not see 2 Runs in order to have that Under work out, this Matz kid though...SP Mets....may be The Real Deal. Kluber SP Indians got Rocked, first 13 Mets batters.
St Louis has tied it up but no way this final one should be as difficult as its been thus far.
Fielding Errors continue to plague me, been murdered by Errors this week.

Well deserved Victory with such a Brave card to close, back to your Pirates trusting Nicasio, Oaktown over a dangerous KC team, to take that series then Minnesota winless prior to this series to sweep an Angels team that should not get swept there.
Hopefully I can survive the Loser's Bracket, get a Rematch in the final.

Thanks, it wasn't the best strategy for me to take no dogs on sunday so that I would have to hit all 3 if you went 2-0(assuming you didnt have any big dogs)....... but It worked out and I got lucky.

Strategy ("Game Theory") is the most interesting question to me. My brain doesn't do numerical/probability stuff well like a Poker Brain or Chess Brain. Likely why Game Theory fascinates me so much. I concluded the most +EV way to play it was to "bet" against you pulling off that perfect card, I think that was the play that was most sound of available options....maybe not though, sometimes the best strategy probability/odds-wise is surprising.
To your strategy, I'm like: Pirates put him in a hole to begin the week but came through for him when needed then OAK and MINNY?!? 8th Inning at bat of both those teams they both come through at Home when they needed to so I'm like, sincerely, man that straight out won it with a courageous Card, Respect.
Homestanding Teams though, well played. :toast:
Thrilling week, not always for the good lol Relief Pitchers failing, errors....but then also a few things that fell each of our way, snatching Victory from the jaws of defeat in a few games...just this week in itself was worth the investment for the drama it added to the games.
