you may be on to something there , but it could also make for an angle in tonights cards game. The cards may give 2 or 3 position players the day off which would leave a make-shift lineup and with quick draw dale scott behind the plate this could be a zippity doo dah game thats over and done in 2:40 ... but st lou hasnt been hitting well and there really not in a position to just mail it in so we'll just have to wait for lineup cards , but i would expect a fast game tonight.

did some more digging on the pads game. st louis used alot of their bullpen in last night's game and have a first timer going today in walters.
LaRussa might not have a choice but to give him innings to rest the pen. LeBlanc is young too and has been decent but his stats are nothing special. Given the circumstances I would go under but given the fact the pens are tired and the pitchers are young I think over is the way to go

Well , i dunno , i would'nt sit holliday but they may. You may be right about the over , just b/c it's a quick game does'nt always mean under (especially when it's 7)
I'm wondering if there's any sunset shadow issues ? ... if there are they probably wouldnt come around until the 5th or 6th inning. If it's under after 4 it will likely stay under through 7.

can any excel guru's out there help me with a project I'd like to do? Basically I am trying to create an ump database going back to 1999 to track tendencies of umpires. Covers has the data on their web site but when I try to get it into excel it does not show up in the correct format. I tried to copy/paste it and import the data using the button in excel but it does not come out in the correct format. Can someone post how to do this correctly?
