Baseball is unique as you pick the winner and pay a price for it. The other sports you pick a winner and they have to win by x amount of points. Those lines kill you and no matter how good a team is can you predict they are 20 better than someone else.
In bases one does not have to understand it all. Go thru all the pivots and just jot down those that are out preforming the others. Both in wins and losses.
Say you look at line cats in col BE. Say Hf5 since I believe May 1 they are 105-46 for the home team. Now in the pivots you can set the tabs to look at the N league or A league and by month. So the over all record looks good such that one would think if some other indicator is showing a play on the A league as HF5 cat favorite by looking back they are 5-5 last 21 days or what ever month or months you decide to use. So now it is not as nice a play as you thought. If you find one of these things in the plays that has stood the test of time you have a starting place.
Kind of a cryptic example but I was just trying to show a way to start.
I have mentioned this many times b4 that I use my own master. Each day I update it to show new day and previous days finals. I believe Pops master ends at col HW mine ends at col JI. I find things I like and track them via specific formulas to show results.

my questions may be coming late in the season but I want to learn how to use this info that pops has offered to this forum. It must be very time consuming. Thanks daily updates are automatic and take almost 2 min to do umps, pitching, scoring and weather. i know it's a bunch of time out of my life but u need to do what u have to do to get the job done.
