the best thing i think i could tell a guy coming across this thread is to play with it, by going to the yellow nl/al combined tab and clicking on any piece of data you could create any pivot table you want by then selecting insert and then pivot table.... .make one for wrigley field for example, doubt that its gonna hold that way forever bout how bout 21-3 using the Over/under close 9 as a dividing line in conjucnction with the weather site Pop often posts...and i been on most of em........there are plenty of ready made pivots but playing with em cant be bad exercise.
Pops you ever see a total as low as yesterday in that Ubaldo Rockies game last night? I was reading where Romero has all these moving pitches but checked to see what he was throwing in that air last night on mlb and it was all fastball and changeup .... rain stopped it from going 9 and they already scored 8
How do you make a total? Yesterday you had a good middle without getting the cigar, though it was wrigley and you checked weather, but still you project these things pretty well b4 they come out. Just wondering what stats go into making the line. Do you use a formula?
Okay, I'll be the one to ask the obvious question. Why play over on an ump who's 1-11 to the under, unless you're counting on "what goes up must come down"? And that would be like guessing the top or bottom of the stock market. I prefer pops theory of ride the fucking horse til it dies. Respect you; that's why I'm asking.

no worries- I understand ride the horse till it dies, but wolf's horse has got to fall over sooner rather than later. I looked at how he performers with pitchers of given WHIPS among other things and garza and nolasco fall into a strong over category for wolf. Now back to your point aroundwolf this year, i havne't see him call a game this year and maybe he has increased his strike zone from years past (I can't recall seeing him in prior years either)
