Thanks mate. Things went very well in the Qualifiers, but the lines are going to be alot tougher for the actual tournament. Books are going to get a ton of money coming in on this, especially as its getting much better broadcasting coverage.

Didn't watch the game yesterday but caught some quick highlights. Ghana won in the 90th minute, but no complaints as it seems they completely deserved it. They wasted alot of chances, and hit the post a few times.

Managed to watch most of todays games. Morocco battered Namibia 5-1. Namibia were awful in defence. Morocco are renowned for being a talented passing team. They utilised the width extremely well, and despite the pitch problems, they were creating some nice passes. Namibia managed to score an excellent goal with some slick passing and a good finish on the counterattack, but they really look out-of-their depth.

Pretty poor game between Ivory Coast and Nigeria. Ivory Coast keeper is definitely indecisive. The few times Nigeria sent crosses in the box, he was often very rash in his decision making. They couldn't exploit this further as they have a real lack of wide players, and ended up playing 4 strikers in Martins/Utaka/Yakubu/Kanu, with them all interchaning position. It didn't work at all. Ivory Coast looked strong in all parts of the field. Drogba was tired as he's just returned from injury. But they've got some real impact players. It seems the teams utilising width have proved successful. The Ivorians attacked alot more in the wide positions, and always looked dangerous in the 2nd half. They should have scored a couple more.

Problems so far are the pitches. The grass is too long. The ball often gets stuck on the turf, and so passes don't reach their destination. That's why there's some sloppy play and its affected the passing game.

Pending Pick:
Sudan vs. Zambia - OVER 2.5 @ 2.30 @ Stan James (1 unit)

Thanks guys!

Sudan vs. Zambia - OVER 2.5 @ 2.30 @ Stan James (1 unit) (0-3) WON +1.3

1-0 (+1.3)
YTD: 5-11-3 (-4.92 units)

Watched a big chunk of the match. Very bad Sudanese defence and goalkeeper. But, I reckon they were generally the better team. They play good passing football, and looked very comfortable in possession. Zambia also looked to have some real livewires in attack. They come forward with alot of pace and power.

Yeah, despite the tournament historically being low-scoring, I think there's been value in the overs.

Following plays all for one unit:

Senegal ML vs. Tunisia @ 2.40 @ Stan James (2-2) LOST -1
Senegal vs. Tunisia - OVER 2.5 @ 2.38 @ Stan James (2-2) WON +1.38

Angola PK vs. South Africa @ 2.09 @ Pinnacle (1-1) PUSH
Angola vs. South Africa - OVER 2.5 @ 2.30 @ Stan James (1-1) LOST -1

1-2-1 (-0.52)
YTD: 6-13-4 (-5.44 units)

Senegal/Tunisia first half was terrible. Tunisia definitely look to have some good technical players, but the coach has implemented a conservative defensive system. They had one attack which they scored from. A huge defensive error at the end of the first half gave Senegal the goal. In the 2nd half, Senegal dominated and started playing some very good football. They missed two extremely easy chances, including a tap-in from 5 yards out. Tunisia just put 10 men behind the ball, and the coach took off a striker. Another defensive mistake gifted Senegal a deserved goal. Tunisia scored an amazing 30 yard shot against the run-of-play in the 80th min.

If the Tunisian coach stops being so conservative, then they have a chance to progress. Senegal looked very good in the 2nd half.

Only caught parts of Angola/South Africa, so can't really comment.

Guinea vs. Morocco - OVER 2.5 @ 2.16 @ Pinnacle (1.5 unit)

Guinea are one of the few teams with a genuine playmaker in the side in Feindouno. Pacy, and a decent attacking side. The have to get a result in this match following the loss to Ghana. Morocco play great attacking football with alot of width. They won't be gifted easy goals like against Namibia, but they have to attack because they do not want to have to leave qualification hanging against the home nation Ghana.

Guinea vs. Morocco - OVER 2.5 @ 2.16 @ Pinnacle (1.5 unit) (3-2) WON +1.71

1-0 (+1.71)
YTD: 7-13-4 (-3.73 units)

The over comes through for us hm2.0! Excellent second half, very exciting. 3 goals in 4 minutes including a penalty, and an absolutely amazing 30 yarder. Big problem for Guinea though as they've got their most important player Feinduono suspended after a stupid sending off.

Morocco will have to get something against Ghana.
