Greetings,
2008 Euro Championship Totals: 41W - 44L - 11T (+44.83 units)
2008 Calendar Year Totals: 391W - 394L - 154T (+84.1 units)
As I exit the forum, I take this opportunity to thank all of the usual suspects for their tremendous capping ability (overall, you were very profitable. Not exactly very talkative myself, thus pardon those who I have never thanked before (or enough, for that matter).
I am not a capper, but played the game since I was 5 (my Odyssey started in the asphalt jungles of the San Giovanni district in Rome, before migration took me to the shores of Canada at age 14. Trust me, all I can say is that I played a lot. Still do, but coaching much more enjoyable.
I fell in love with baseball when I came here. Really reeled me in the way Ultimate Fighting did for the wrestling/boxing fans today. Use to love to watch guys like George Brett, Eric Davis, Vince Coleman, J.R. Richards, just to name a few.
What does baseball have to do with soccer? I am a firm believer that if I wagered on baseball, all my plays for the entire season would carry no best bets / medium / small plays. I would play every play at the same amount. Sounds ludicrous, but the dynamics of baseball are not those of "soccer/football", there is so much riding on those heavily favoured starters who can go 7 innings.
In "soccer/football", money management is paramount. Period. You can have a losing W/L record, but still generate a profit at the end of the year (I can't offer you any advice except this one). Nonetheless, pick a league, follow it like Frodo did in Lord of the Rings, and everything should take care of itself.
It's early for propping, but for Serie A props early birds -despite final puzzles pieces needed by the big3 - I can tentatively recommend the following:
Inter under 82.5 points (****)
Lecce over 37.5 points (*******)
AC Milan under 78.5 points (****)
For Scudetto purposes see it (although market still active).
1. Inter Milan
2. Juventus
3. Roma
4. Fiorentina
5. AC Milan
Take care, and good luck.
