No offense but the Rock N Roll hall of fame is a joke.. Not arguing about Nirvana, But not to have the Moody Blues,Deep Purple or Yes, in is a complete Joke, especially since they put in a lot of other jokers............

the Rock N Roll HOF has flaws just like the sports HOF's

Oops...my bad... you are totally right. That was the song I was thinking of. Alzheimer's seems to be catching up with me. Not a big Nirvanna fan but love both of these songs by them.

Because you said they were better after he killed himself.

His death allowed them to be remembered as they were and made them more millions, his death assured that they didnt go through a 2, 3 or 4 record streak of shit music. I never said they were better, I said his eating a bullet kept them relevant instead of featured on a where are they now episode

not to many believe this nonsense.. I guess if you weren't a fan, its a lot easier to let your imagination run wild

More of a Pearl Jam fan myself but KC and Nivana have made some pretty good tunes.

Based on 3 albums? The were at the right place at the right time, not on the same level as the all time greats

I get what you're saying but they changed the music scene overnight for a generation. Not many bands can say that. It does help as Grohl's Foo Fighters have been relevant for over a decade also. I hope to never hear Smells Like Teen Spirit anymore, but their music holds up very well today, very very hard to do.

A lot of music legends only have a few albums, like Hendrix and Jim Morrison.

Love this song

There isnt much difference between Nirvana and Guns N Roses, except Axl Rose stuck around. The hype was pretty much the same for both bands.
This is about the only thing in this thread I can agree with you on. There isn't much of a difference between them, because they were (and are) both GREAT bands. They both were hugely influential on music for a decade or more. A decade which, IMO, is one of the best in music history..

You have to be looking pretty hard to find new music in the last 10-15 years that can match that era in music. Nirvana and Guns N' Roses were a major reason for the explosion.
