20 rounds in a second? Wow, that's impressive for a semi-automatic weapon. I was the last of those who used the fully automatic M16 in the Marine Corps, as they went to the M16 A2, which was both semi-automatic and had a 3-round burst, not a fully auto function.
The AR15's sold to the public are not fully automatic, but semi-automatic just like a handgun.
I am a big bad conservative and I just let a friend of mine have it for suggesting that no one he knew would have been at a gay club. I am as angry about this shooting as much as I would be if they shot up a synagogue and I am Jewish.
