she'll probably do her usual choke in SFs but
a great value play
also took ivanovic at 50/1
dementieva at 50/1
and kuznetsova at 20/1
last week.

Davenport was 25 to 1 on Monday at Pinnacle. She got a great draw. Davenport on Tuesday at Srebotnik was largest play in a while. I had no idea on thiis match, but obviously Rail did. Where did you get Dementieva at 50 to 1? Those are good #'s but Dementieva, Ivanovic, and Kuznetsova all got horrendous draws especially Kuznetsova. That was the one I was going to pound till I saw the draw. She's potentially have to beat Zheng, Vaidisova/Jankovic, Dementieva/Venus just to get to the semis. The 2 players I hate the most Sharapova and Henin got good ones. Good luck.

how about the 2004 CWS when the books made Jason Windsor +180 vs Texass in G2 of the CWS Title Series - one of the biggest joke lines of ALL-TIME - despite the fact Windsor was THE STUD of Omaha. Windsor wouldn't have been more than about +125 against the Yankees let alone U of Texass

If Carter aint going Georgia no lock, NewHampy scored 5 against a tough Oregon pitcher and I am not in love with Georgia bats.

They were a lock no matter who was pitching. Pretty obvious Carter was pitching, but Phillips isn't bad either. Aparently you didn't watch those horrific New Hampshire pitchers against Missouri.

actually my bet on dementieva was on 8/14, one day after she won the tournament in LA.
There were several books that had Dementieva at 50/1. Dementieva and Kuznetsova are unfortunately in the same 1/4, if they weren't, I could see them playing each other in the finals.
Davenport does have a easy draw. She'll likely play Henin in quarters. I can see Davenport getting to semis where she'll likely meet Kuznetsova or Dementieva. Ivanovic is in a tough quarter. But, I can see her beating Mauresmo, and Hingis. Beating Sharapova in SFs will be tough.
My bets on Ivanovic,Dementieva and Kunzetsova were made before the draw came out. Btw, Davenport is now down to less than 15/1 at pinnacle.
She was nearly 21/1 at Pinnacle yesterday.
