Hi MJ, I just bet Fla run line at +140 but the Boston M/L was only -124 so i bet the m/l on Bost. I know the run line on Bost is +160 but you have to win the game by 2 runs. What's the advantage to betting the run line when the money line is so cheap? Thanks, and keep up the good work.
It's debatable I'm sure...but my intentions are to have a dog system and thats how I'm going to run it...when it's possible.
For one thing...betting dogs on the ML or RL means we only lose 3 units max for a series loss. What you gain by small ML odds...you may lose by larger series losses when they happen.
We could argue it forever...and neither of us would be right.
I like the idea of smaller losses...and potentially larger gains the way it is set up trying to find the best Run Line or Dog ML winners.
But if straight ML works for you...who cares? Use the picks for what works. There is plenty of room for people to play this differently.
If someone didn't want the extra risk...you could also play it straight up without the unit progression.
