Another great night with 3 out of 4 chase winners in GM 1's +2.35 units for the day, but we still have the Yankees on Tuesday in GM 2 for the 2 unit chase.

Nothing wrong with banking the units and waiting for the next sets ...but for record keeping we will play the system here.

Baltimore at NY Yankees -1.5 +105 GM 2 for 2 units.

There are no other series that qualify in this set of games.

Is that a slight lean on passing on NYY covering 1.5 there I detect? Because I'm uneasy about the Yankees pulling out yet another win myself.

I'm just being practical...I'm not trying to handicap the game.

Up +2.35 units is nothing to sneeze at and there is always another set right around the corner.

After we run this for a while we can look at the numbers and decide if the game 2 risk is really worth it.

Maybe we should just play the game 1's ?...I don't really know yet.

It would be frustrating again to bag 3 Game1's and drop the winnings again with a single losing chase, not unlike the prev Thur/Fri set. But would still be up about 1unit counting the Thu/Fri even if Yanks don't cover tomorrow, and I'm not about to argue with profit.


That being said, Yanks are hot right now off the break, and they might be smelling blood after tying the Sox tonight, but Mitre is a gigantic ???. Girardi loves the guy. We'll see.

I tickled it a little at +181 and if I remember correctly, I did the same last small favorite game and it hit also..........

What I think you may want to consider is putting only 1 unit on the second game chase after a big first day like yesterday. That way, if you win, you come close or do match the loss from the day before with decent odds. But if you lose, you keep a larger portion of the total profit.

mj what factors do you take into account when choosing your picks? I read post 212 a few times and it just says ur picks are based on a home teams efficiency in there last few games vs a team struggling on the road. I tried to match ur picks yesterday without looking and I picked the Yanks -1.5 and Dodgers -1.5 based on there recent games at home and their opponents had both been struggling on the road. Thanks in advance.
