Russia is ready and looks forward to restoring bilateral relations with the United States, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, commenting on the news of Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election.

The stuff about the fish and taking in our Attention Whores were lies.

Political Figures

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg joked in an interview with The New York Times in July that it’d be time to move to New Zealand if Trump were to win.

“Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand,” she said quoting her husband who died in 2010. “I can’t imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president. For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that.”

Ginsburg later apologized for her comments, calling them “ill-advised.”

KTVU added that Trump supporters hosted a watch party at the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco and some protesters were seen in masks.

</aside>None of the celebrities who vowed to move out of the United State if Donald Trump became president have followed through on their promise to do so.
According to Heat Street, in the nearly six weeks following President-elect Donald Trump’s Election Day victory, only 28 Americans have applied for “Trump related refugee status” to Canada — with none of them appearing to be celebrities.
More from Heat Street:
Canadian officials say that there was a “bump” in requests for refugee status following Trump’s election—or, at least, that there seemed to be a bump in November, which immigration lawyers attribute to the political change.
“The rhetoric coming from the (U.S. political) discussion… was filled with a lot of concerning language, including hate, exclusion, deportation,” one Canadian immigration lawyer told Canadian state news. “I could see why people would be concerned for their own safety, their own lives, and evaluate whether they could live (there).”
Of the 28 who applied, it’s possible none will be approved to relocate to America’s northern neighbor. The CBC found only two successful claims for asylum out of hundreds of cases filed from the U.S. since 2010. There was no successful claim out of the 170 filed in 2015.
Among those who said they would leave are: Bryan Cranston, Rosie O’Donnell, Jon Stewart and Whoopi Goldberg, Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer, Cher, Samuel Jackson, Lena Dunham, Barbara Streisand, Raven-Symone and others.
None of them have followed through and several have said following Trump’s election to the White House that they were simply “joking” when they made their vow.

He most likely swam a narrow stretch of river, climbed a barbed-wire fence, and ran from any
(two legged) coyotes -- or bribed/paid them off -- just to GET here. You think he's gonna
leave NOW????
