MN/Iowa
No one here in Mn cares about the Gophers. I would expect more Iowa fans then Mn fans at this one again. They want Mason run out of town. Mn is playing to go to the Motor City Bowl. This excites no one!
<have to agree on minnesota, kodiak. i'm an iowa fan, have season tickets to the games in iowa city, but have to believe gophers make a stand. remember the last time iowa play at minny, the hawks won and the fans (iowa fans typically rival the number of gophers fans at the metrodome, and i'm talking iowa
fans at the game in minneapolis) tore down the goal posts and tried to take them out of the stadium. BIG revenge game for the gophers. plus iowa has a hard time stopping a mobile q.b., which minny has.>

Normally I'd Agree...
I love your picks on a weekly basis, Kodiak, but I'm gonna have to go the other way on the MSU-Wisconsin game. A lot of people are very high on the Spartans, but I just don't see the Badgers letting down. This team is on a mission, they're actually a team that doesn't look ahead but really does take it one game at a time. Bottom line, their D is way too good for MSU. If Stanton was playing, I might be inclined to agree, but Dowdell is unimpressive, and Wisconsin's offense is starting to pick up the slack.
Home field advantage is overrated in this game, as is John L. Smith's ability to get his team to play their "game of the year." I wouldn't like this play as a GOW, let alone GOY.
