This card looks a little dangerous with the way the Yanks and Reds are both playing but can they both lose again?!?! Yeah they probably can but I do think they are good spots for them tomorrow.


First of all, congrats on your win on the Reds, and, even more so, on your outstanding season thus far. I'd just like to point out TWO disturbing things in the following statement that you made: "Cant believe im backing the Reds after what they did to me yesterday but fuck it they owe me some money". First of all, this wasn't some OTHER poster saying they can't believe you're backing the Reds, this is YOU saying it! That sounds like, deep down inside, you knew you shouldn't be betting them but decided to do so anyway, that which brings us to Disturbing Comment Number 2, namely "...they owe me some money." If there is only ONE very painful, very expensive lesson I've learned in years of betting, it's to recognize that no team "owes" anybody ANYTHING, and the only thing that is "due" is the mortgage payment. I even saw one guy say, there's always a team in a sport that you can't get a handle on: you bet ON 'em, the lose, you bet AGAINST them, they win. He said, don't try to analyze 100 reasons why that's so, just stay off that team for awhile. You can paper bet them 5 or 10 games to see if you can gain-or, REgain-your feel for their games. No big mystery why the Skanks and Reds are both by far the biggest moneyburners in the AL and NL. respectively-they both suck. Anyway, hope you took the constructive criticism in the spirit that was intended, and good luck on your future plays.

Those comments were in the heat of the moment as I was very frusterated... but I will never back away from a team I like based on "well there playing bad lately so im backing away, or they killed me yesterday so i wont bet them" I take everyday as a new day and today I liked the Reds... i know the Reds dont OWE me anything I just said that because I was pissed off like I said in the heat of the moment.... thanks for the constructive criticism as it makes everyone better in the long run. I agree with everything you said, the only thing is I didnt really mean they owed me money and I did like the Reds today so I went with them...

I think too much blame is being put on Fat Tony he put together the league and it was kind of a last second kind of thing... overall I think he did a good job and it is fun but in my opinion your cheating the system!!

absolutely not I would bury Betjam until they went out of business... but thats going against Betjam... not 10 other guys who paid $100 each to have fun in a fantasy league... thats why i wouldnt expect someone to try and take advantage of the rules but hey its your call man!
