Software can easily be set up to have one or the other, but choosing a free half point instead of -105 would not be a good choice for the player, especially if the 7 was excluded in football. If the only number excluded was the 3, then it's closer but still a better deal to take -105.

I would imagine that BHB would prefer that you choose to take a free half instead of -105, so they will probably offer that option if they decide to go the reduced juice route.

-110 is a very bad option nowdays even my grandma and her dog offer -107 so if any book wants to survive in the long run, they ought to offer -107 at least.

Scott:

Maybe you wanna be cautious at the beginning. Things that I have noticed in this proposal that would increase your exposure greatly are:

1. -105. Too low. No way you can offset the action you get at -105. You would have to clone Pinny to be able to make it. Even if you cap the limits, 20 guys at a nickel each can make you 10K heavy on a side. Who will buy back?

2. ½ points are very useful tools in the hands of educated players. Beware.

3. A dime line for bases is good enough for the player already. Oly and CRIS will continue to deal 20 cents. Pinny will probably deal 4 cents lines...LOL. As long as they have a Cascade...

4. There are NO square puck players. A wise man once said: "You're better off laying the pucks than taking the action". MLs are the feast of Finnish and a few Canucks.

Just trying to help

WOL - thanks bro. Noted. Maybe we should just keep the juice the same, maybe -07. 10 cent line for bases, and no reups.

Keep posting guys. input good....need more input.

.05 sides with .10 bases breaking at 170 is great. I would definitely be back for that.

Scott,

I think you have to ask yourself, if there are no re-up bonuses, why would someone re-up with you as opposed to Pinn. No offense to you, but mnay of us here don't know just how deep your pockets are. A lot of players who look for reduced juice shops, are alos look for top tier bboks. Until your reputation grows, whihc can only come thru time, you may find it diffcult competeting for customers.

Also, one thing books tend to forget, cash bonuses maybe exspensive, but at leats you have some control over how much you are paying out. Places that offer reduced juice, and don't have a top notch linemanager at the helm, can easily get killed.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.

To be competitive in this market and to attract players instead of bonus hunters you have to offer reduced juice or a free half point (preferably the option to choose one or the other) in football and basketball.

In bases you have to offer a dime line. If you want to be creative to attract more business you can reduce the juice on run lines and totals.

Original props instead of the usual clones from Oly would surely get some attention.

Lower juice in hockey would be nice, but I don't think that hockey will drive your business.

Good luck in whatever you choose. It's nice to see a book asking for opinions from the players.

Hate to break it to you.. You are not Pinny, and never will be.. Trying to copy their concept will get you killed in no time.. I doubt you have the people to handle the sort of customers you will get with offers like this.

"and never will be........."

Thanks DOM. I hate to break it to you, but you are not Jesus Christ.

SO how do you know wether or not we will be AS big as pinny, or even BIGGER?

You must not be a very sucessful person. Sucessful people try to immitate other successful people. Learn from their mistakes, and profit from what works for others.

NEVER be deterred by someone elses success. Thinking "why bother, I cant be as good as them". u must be kidding.

Happy Holidays to you. You need it.
