Didier Faoult's 'proof' that HCQ worked was a trial involving 24 people. Thats way too low of an N to be making broad claims about efficacy.

Two subsequent tests run by France and China with larger sample sizes showed no benefit from using HCQ.

Could HCQ help in some instances? Possibly. Its far from a goven that it helps though.

On a side note, I think everyone should read The Structure of Scientific Revolutions by Thomas Kuhn. Its a bit bland, but it will help you understand where we are at right now.
